Education
-B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering.
-Possession of current international approved certification e.g. CSWIP/PCN achieved through approved formal training is a mandatory requirement Such as: a) CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector) CSWIP / PCN Ultrasonic Testing Level LLC) CSWIP / PCN Magnetic Particle Inspection Level IId) CSWIP / PCN Penetrant Testing Level IIe) API 510 API 570
Experience & Skills
-Possession of current international approved certification e.g. CSWIP/PCN achieved through approved formal training is a mandatory requirement. Such as: a) CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspectorb) CSWIP/PCN Ultrasonic Testing Level IIc) CSWIP / PCN Magnetic Particle Inspection Level IId) CSWIP/PCN Penetrant Testing Level IIe) API 510 API 570Minimum of 10 years experience obtained in inspection with Oil and Gas industry, 5years of which must be in offshore environment.
-Proven record of experience of “In-Service” inspection of process plant.
-Minimum 3 years experience conducting process piping surveys.
-Fluency in English, computer literate and able to produce technical reports. Ability to initiate interpretation of developed radiographs and subsequent positive identification of relevant standards.
-Must have knowledge of relevant codes, standards and specifications relating to pressure containing plant, safety relief devices, inspection and non-destructive testing.
-Should have a sound knowledge of welding and experience of on line inspection. Shall have knowledge of cathodic protection and impressed current systems.
-Shall have detailed knowledge of all types of non-destructive testing, especially Ultrasonics, Radiography, Magnetic Flux Leakage, Eddy Current, IRIS, ACFM, MPI/DP
Thermography Acoustic Emission techniques and technical report writing.
