Job Purpose:
Design and analysis of LV switchgear products (MCB, MCCB, ACB and its accessories)
Key Accountabilities:
-Independently perform analysis of mechanism, electromagnetic, structural, thermal, arc modelling and other related analysis for switchgear product using various modules in ANSYS / Recurdyn / ADAMS etc.
-Design of LV switchgear products (MCB/MCCB/ACB) using CREO.
-Use of analysis software for specific analysis and getting close to real-life results.
-Review reliability predictions, and Design Failure Modes and Effects analysis (DFMEA) and structural/thermal/CFD results.
-Participate in multi-discipline concurrent development and corrective action.
-Selection of raw-material selection.
-Evaluate specification for compliance to relevant standard and finalization in co-ordination with concerned departments.
-Review of design to develop prototypes, preparation of test plan, evaluation of test reports and design changes, if required for compliance to relevant standard.
-Evaluate and finalize specifications of the product for compliance with latest standards. Product performance evaluation.
-Design of products considering DFx(Manufacturability/Automation/Assembly/Cost,etc)
-Management of appropriate design records, documents and change management using SAP ECTR.
-Technical support to cross functions.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
B.E. / B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum Experience:
Minimum 6 to 8 Years
Generic Skills:
-Expertise in design and analysis of LV products like MCB, MCCB, ACB.
-Expert in Mechanism analysis software like Ansys / Recurdyn / ADAMS,etc.
-Excellent problem solving skills with hands-on experience with switchgear products.
-Ability to take informed decisions and provide technical inputs to solve problems.
-Excellent Communication Skills.
Competencies:
-Expertise in design and analysis of LV products like MCB, MCCB, ACB.
-Expert in Design softwares like Creo, autocad, adobe illustrator,
-Preferably Six-Sigma Green/Black Belt certified.
-Expert in Mechanism analysis softwares like Ansys / Recurdyn / ADAMS,etc
-In-depth knowledge in LV protection products like MCB, MCCB & ACB.
-Knowledge of relevant international & national product, Raw material norms/standards.
-Should be well verse with Creo and FEA and Ansys.
-Good in SAP and PLM.
