Qualification & Experience:
B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 7 years experience (GCC experience preferred) in HVAC & PL FF (Construction) Projects. Experienced in mechanical systems related to HVAC & PL FF Works
Job Purpose:
-To manage all quantities relating to projects, from the initial calculations to final figures. To seek to minimize the costs of project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
-Preparation of the Bill of Quantity/Material Take-Off as per the drawings and field measurements stated in the terms of the contract.
-Preparation of monthly progress bills for invoicing.
-Coordinating with the client project team for quantity approvals.
-Follow-up payments with the clients.
-Coordinate with engineers to revise the drawings in case of discrepancy.
-Assist the project manager in identifying changes in scope and variations.
-Prepare, analyse and submit additional/variation costing to clients.
-Providing advice to project manager on submission of contractual claims.
-Coordinate with planning department for quantity planning & scheduling.
-Perform site visits, assessments and projections for future work.
-Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
