OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)
JOB PURPOSE:
Inspection of tooling elements, plastic molded parts, tool qualification, and maintain all documents pertaining to Quality Assurance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
-To improve and sustain the quality of manufacturing process through in-process and final inspection of tooling parts.
-To improve and sustain the quality of injection molding process through in-process and final inspection of molded parts.
-To improve and sustain the quality of injection molds/press tools through final inspection and qualification.
-Regular review of NCR’s and follow up on the corrective and preventive action plan
-Maintain machine and instruments belonging to QA in good condition
-Calibration of measuring instruments of related to Molds factory
-Maintain documents and publish quality data regularly
-High level of fitting and matching of mold elements
-Maintain 5s and good housekeeping
-Interact with sub ordinates tool makers manufacturing supervisors and tool designers
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
-Diploma in tool and die making
-Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with min. 3 years’ experience in quality assurance.
-ITI- fitter
Minimum Experience:
-Minimum 2 years experience in tooling industries.
-Min 3 years experience in Industrial training.
Generic Skills:
-Knowledge of tool manufacturing process.
-Knowledge of usage and operation of measuring machines.
-Knowledge of Reading Engineering drawings.
-Knowledge of using Measuring instruments
-Usage of precision vices, angle plates, sine tables,
-Calculations of sine angles, radius profiles
-Usage of profile projectors/ Tool makers microscopes, radius templates and other measuring instruments
-Fair Knowledge and skill to speak, read and write in English.
COMPETENCIES:
-High level of skill and knowledge of usage of measuring machines and instruments
-Experience in engineering drawing reading skills
-High level of analytical skills,
-Fair knowledge of Injection molding process
-Fair knowledge of tool manufacturing process
-Usage of Microsoft office applications like Excel/word etc.
-Adaptive and flexible to changing priorities
