Main Purpose of the Job
The Team Leader - Housekeeping is responsible for overseeing the work of a team of housekeeping staff. They are responsible for ensuring that the facility is kept clean and tidy, and that all housekeeping standards are met. They may also be responsible for ordering supplies, training new staff, and resolving any issues that arise.

Main Duties / Responsibilities
The main duties and responsibilities of a Team Leader-Housekeeping are to:
-Lead the daily activities of housekeeping staff
-Compliant with BICS standards and procedures.
-Ensuring that the Housekeeping crews are well groomed.
-Coordinating timings and arranging extra working hours if needed.
-Ensure that all rooms and public areas are clean and tidy
-Request and maintain minimum material requirements
-Conduct training and development for housekeeping staff
-Resolve any complaints or issues
-Comply with all health and safety regulations
-Records and Preparing reports
-Communicating with superiors with the ongoing activities.
-Developing and implementing new cleaning procedures
-Managing inventory
Minimum qualifications / educational levels required for this position
High school diploma or equivalent.
Selection Criteria
-BICSc certified or trained is a must.
-Strong organizational and time management skills
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Ability to follow safety procedures
Special Conditions
-Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
-Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
-Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
What minimum experience is required for this position
-Minimum 5 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field
-Minimum 4 or 5 Star Hotel experience is required
