MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To ensure that all Projects/Department are manned with QC staff in accordance with client/contract requirement and that QC is in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
JOB OBJECTIVES
-To manage day to day QC functions in all the areas of operation through a team of Lead Supervisor Quality Control, Senior QC Engineers, QC Engineers, welding inspectors and QC Inspectors.
-To ensure project QC programs meet contract and Company’s ISO requirements.
-To ensure projects are staffed with adequate numbers and types of QC personnel.
-To ensure the resolution of QC issues at project or country level.
-To provide effective leadership for Lead Supervisor of Quality Control.
-To gain and maintain the confidence of the Company project client management in matters related to Company quality and customer satisfaction.
-To review tender documents and give input regarding QC activities/requirements.
-To keep the VP Services and QA Manager regularly updated regarding the quality issues.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
-20 years of overall Quality Control Experience in which 5 Years of work experience as QC Manager for big projects especially Mall, Mixed Use Development projects
-Prior experience in GCC is an added advantage
