Education & Skills
-Minimum 12 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience with contracting / construction company in the corporate level.
-Advanced Degree in Accounting / Finance complemented by a ICWAI or CPA or CMA or MBA –Finance
-Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures in the GCC countries and preferring candidates having prior experience in GCC countries.
-Excellent accounting software user – Oracle and its administration skills
-Experience with creating financial statements.
-Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
-Candidates having experience on reputed Contracting / construction firm like L&T, Shapoorji, Punjj Lloyd….etc.
Responsibilities
-Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
-Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements including project close-out.
-Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
-Research technical accounting issues for compliance
-Support month-end and year-end close process
-Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
-Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
