OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To monitor the construction process to ensure all quality requirements by performing all the in-process stage inspection activities during the fabrication, installation, final testing of the product/process are met in accordance to the Organization procedures, contract requirements and relevant international Codes/Standards of practice.
JOB OBJECTIVES
-To check, inspect and test incoming raw materials/instruments to ensure that they meet project contract specification/contract requirements.
-To perform the in-process inspection as per QC procedures and Inspection and Test plan (ITP).
-To coordinate with Client/Consultant for the verification of process inspection for varies QC activities and signing off all QC documents.
-To follow and ensure the proper filling system (in accordance to the Organization procedure) with full traceability for retrieving the document.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:
-A Three year Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical
QC experience mainly in reputed Organizations, having business in EPC Projects (and/or) Construction (and/or) GRP/GRE Piping for Oil & Gas.
-Knowledge and hands on experience in the quality control area of NDE, Welding Technology, Painting, Electrical & Instrumentation, Civil works as applicable.
-Familiarization with the respective Codes and Standards used in the various field of applicable Engineering specialization
-Knowledge on Material Codes/Standards
-Reading and Interpreting drawings, International Standards (relevant to the discipline) and Procedures
-Communication Skills
-Team Work
-Certification for nondestructive testing techniques (ASNT- TC Level II in Non Destructive Testing) and Welding Inspection (AWS/CSWIP) as applicable
-8 years of overall work experience in respective Business line projects of the Organization
PIPING
-To undertake verification of all QC related activities in GRP / GRE piping
-To collate all relevant QC documentation for the job and verify the Piping Test Pack to undertake pre-hydro test inspection activity and initiate punch list.
-To coordinate Non Destructive Testing (NDT) activities and review of NDT reports.
-To read and interpret the various drawings (P&ID, GA Drawings, Isometric & spooling) required in the Piping fabrication & erection work.
-To apply practical knowledge on the interpretation of respective International Codes & standards (Ex., ASME B31 Codes, ASME Sec IX etc.,) applicable for various jobs.
-To conduct and witness the welder qualification skill test in accordance with the WPS.
