Expertise:
-Bachelor’s Degree /Diploma in Instrument / Electrical / Electronic
-Should have relevant experience in Oil and Gas sector in similar facilities to those specified in the Technical specification with last four (4) years in a Supervisory position. Have the skill to check, calibrate and repair pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic instruments and controls and protective interlocks.
-Must have relevant Oil and Gas experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of pneumatic, electronic, metering, microprocessor based and hydraulic instruments and controls. Sound exposure in at least two systems from the following: - PLC or ESD Systems (HIMA, Allen Bradley, ICS Triplex), DCS’s such as Rosemount RS-3/Foxboro IAS/Honeywell and like.,
Protective system, start-up/shutdown sequences, vibration and governing system of Gas Turbines such as interlocks Equipment.
-Experience in vibration analysis and diagnosis. Knowledge in equipment dismantling & assembly works.
-Must have knowledge of workshop practices and its implementation. Exposure to the protective system, start-up logic, vibration and governing system reciprocating/centrifugal machines. Shall be experienced in the use of Computers and Software’s such as MS office EBEAMS, MS Project etc.
Job Description:
-Direct & coordinate the work of the Contractor’s personnel in his area of responsibility. Initiate requests for spares, special tools and the like.
-Prepares & submits daily & monthly time sheets. PM Schedules, Instrument History and prepare relevant reports.
-Create work order, complete them with manpower, cost, and spares in Companies e-BEAMS system. Direct maintenance and repair of all instrumentation equipment & control systems.
-Diagnose problems, investigates breakdowns with analytical equipment and inputs to failure reports. Perform and/or direct preventive maintenance and/or overhauls defined in the preventive maintenance & survey program.
-Ensures availability & distribution of correct manning levels & requisite tools & equipment to start the works. Carry out the job function of any other instrumentation supervisor when required to do so.
-Compiles daily activity report. Inputs to Engineer on status of all instrumentation in the area. Attends to call out duties after normal working hours. Generate the reports of regular Preventive Maintenance Activities. Co-ordinate maintenance works with the company’s Operation Group. Assist in planning preventive maintenance/overhaul & survey programme. Ensures the implementation of the routine/preventive/shutdown maintenance and surveys programme by the Contractor’s personnel to meet the maintenance goals.
