Job Description:
OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)

-Oversees and reports on the TCM area activities during the shift to ensure smooth running of TCM. Provide safe working environment and to maintain good relationship and high morale among the members of the team, Coverage and assist in TCM team selection/nomination submit investigation/performance and all required requested reports. 
-Maximizes productivity TCM at optimum capacity at the least cost. 
-Minimizes operating costs by controlling delays and optimizing the use of operating materials and supplies.
-Ensures complete personnel attendance and initiates appropriate action as needed to ensure efficient and continuity of operation.
-Ensures immediate carrying on of operation during delays or equipment breakdowns or shutdowns by providing direction and guidance to shift crews.
-Ensures that all workflows and activities are implemented based on approved systems, procedures and instructions.
-Receives/implements instructions from the Operation SV and relays these instructions to peers and subordinates and to give feedback as appropriate.
-Implements work schedule/activities assigned to the team during maintenance down days and shutdowns as per plan, organizes team members to carry out these tasks in an orderly manner to accomplish the tasks on time. 
-Logs the shift's performance and other relevant highlights and observations in the Shift Logbook.
-Prepares Daily Production and Weekly Production reports. 
-Prepares incident reports involving personnel or equipment, conducts investigation and recommends solutions in coordination with HSE and other concerned agencies to prevent recurrence of similar incidents. 
-Wear required PPE and follow safe work practices at all times. 
-Report, Investigate and monitor near misses I incidents in area of control, conduct and participate in all activities relating removal of hazards in your work area. 
-Assist with identification of hazards arising from activities in work area, ensuring that all are communicated to relevant personnel in order to maintain a hazard free work area, also Identifying and evaluating potential I existing safety problems, suggesting solutions and recommending suitable corrective measures.
-Coordinates with Production Planning and Logistic for rolling schedules, revision of orders and product sampling guidelines. 
-Coordinates with finishing line to obtain feedback on product quality and plan for proper course of action where appropriate. 
-Coordinates with Central Maintenance and other Maaden contractors for early completion of contracted jobs in accordance with the job specifications. 
-Maintains good standard of housekeeping and asserts safety awareness in the workplace and provide for safe and well-maintained workplace to protect personnel from harm. 
-Maintains good standard of discipline and ensure compliance of Maaden Rules and Regulations and other guidelines. 
-Identifies and evaluates quality problems, suggest solutions and take corrective actions.
-Initiates investigations on problems associated with equipment and process, and recommends modification to improve quality, increase productivity, prevent major equipment breakdown and optimize cost. 
-Implements Quality Circle, Quality Improvement and Maaden Safety Management plan and encourage employees to participate actively. 
-Ensure the availibility of all consumables in advance and report to planner for further requirement. And for rolls requirement necessary communication and followup with roll shop.
-Performs any additional task assigned by the Operation Shift SV. 
-Assist with the continual improvement of the Quality System by implementing and participating process improvement initiatives in relative areas. 
-Conduct Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) and 5S in the TCM / Roll Shop area and its surrounding. 

Qualifications:
Minimum Diploma in Engineering or equivalent training and experience with sound knowledge of Mechanical and operations. 

Experience: 
Minimum 10 to 12 years operational experience in rolling mills in the production department. Detailed technical knowledge of the specific process being operated is required. 

Skills: 
-20 % of work in office supervising and reports and decision making and 80 % Job in adverse plant conditions, dust, noise etc for supervising and trouble shooting. 
-Supervisory skills, Planning and scheduling skills, problem solving skills, Optimising skills, Interpersonal skills, Communication skills. 
-PC literacy English language.
