Qualifications
-Diploma in computer science or closely related field. (Essential)
-Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or another related technical field. (Desirable)
Experience
Three to five years of experience in a relevant position in contracting, engineering or manufacturing corporation. (Desirable)
Position
The “Document Control Officer” is responsible for collection and distribution of all official documents in general and providing support in the control, maintenance and traceability of all controlled documents and the documentation archives.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Assist Sr. QA Specialist in developing Document Management System and setting up an archive system and electronic library for the management of documents that must be controlled and kept for audit/internal requirements
-Responsible for digital submission of drawings via ERP, email and various customer web interfaces.
-Correspondence/handling customer issues including distribution and resubmittal of revisions.
-Assist in supporting inspections, internal and external audits by ensuring timely response to documentation requests.
-Collect and maintain files of the latest revision level documentation necessary to define job specifications and control manufacturing processes
-Provide support in the management of all controlled documents, including: revising, creating, formatting, uploading, maintenance and changes of documents, templates, forms, logs, etc.
-Respond in a timely manner to requests to retrieve information, information searches and general requests for support.
-Monitor technical documents review and approval in accordance with agreed schedule
-Investigates and responds to corrective actions related to Document Control, Training and External Standards
-Proficient use of computer database /enterprise document management software to ensure effective organization/management and fast retrieval of documents.
-Support and train end users on the use of enterprise document management software to organize, manage and track documents and information.
-Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by higher management
