Job Purpose:
To provide the necessary knowledge on compliance training for the safe execution of work by all personnel associated with the turnaround activities, To ensure that the work force is well train on all require safety policies, procedures and standards before assign to work environment as per OSHA, Local and Q-Chem standards. To support the turnaround Training team in line with the Q-Chem safety plan.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Provide support to training section during the T/A training activities for more than 6,000 contractors.
-Ensure Q-Chem’s T/A Site Safety Plan is understood by all S/D personnel.
-Ensure proper & smooth co-ordination with contractors during the training sessions
-To provide training as per the STRAF Form submitted by DSR’s requirements.
-To provide training on Contractor’s Work Crew role only.
-Provides Work Crew Training in group Native language (Hindi, Malayalam) when necessary.
-Ensures all require Q-Chem’s safety procedures are understood by contractor personnel
-Administers post-test after training sessions
-Ensure all Work Crew contractors are ready and knowledgeable on all Q-Chem’s Safety procedure before training is completed.
Knowledge/ Experience:
-Minimum 5 years’ experience in Safety training in an Oil & Gas sector.
-Competent in the use of Training techniques and presentation skills.
-Good written and oral communication skills in English, Hindi & Malayalam.
-Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.
-Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.
-Must be a self-starter with good problem solving skills.
