Job Summary:
Company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Asst Manager – FM to oversee the operation and maintenance of all electromechanical and civil systems at International Airport. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in airport facilities management, with hands-on expertise in HVAC systems, firefighting, plumbing, PCA units, chillers, BMS, controls, piping, ducting, VAVs, Valves, flow measurement and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and supervise a team of Engineers, mechanical supervisors and FM technicians in daily operations and maintenance activities.
-Manage HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, cooling towers, and cold rooms.
-Oversee firefighting, plumbing, and Pre-Conditioned Air (PCA) units’ maintenance.
-Knowledge in operation and monitoring of BMS (Building Management Systems) and integration with electromechanical systems. – Only monitoring required
-Coordinate with Electrical and Fire Alarm teams to ensure smooth system interfacing and timely issue resolution.
-Handle breakdown management, preventive and corrective maintenance, and emergency response actions.
-Develop and implement maintenance schedules, SOPs, and system checklists.
-Manage spare parts inventory, procurement planning, and stock control.
-Prepare and submit technical reports, maintenance logs, incident reports, and performance analysis.
-Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and client-specific protocols.
-Conduct engineering analysis, review design drawings, and provide improvement recommendations.
-Maintain continuous communication with client representatives and internal management regarding work progress, issues, and KPIs.
Required Skills & Experience:
-Bachelor Degree B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
-Minimum 15 years of experience, Exposure to airport operations and facilities maintenance is must
-Strong technical knowledge of: HVAC systems( AHU, FCU , VAV, VACD, Fire damper , Ducting, piping, pumps HE, CCU, DX unit, Package unit , PCA units , smoke exhaust fans etc -Chillers (air-cooled & water-cooled), cooling tower & associated system
-Firefighting and plumbing systems (pumps, HDPE /PPR piping , water heater )
-PCA units/ cold rooms
-Chemical treatments
-Proven team leadership and personnel management skills.
-Familiarity with engineering flow systems (mechanical, chilled water, ventilation, etc.).
-Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
-Experience in report writing, submittals, and technical documentation.
-Good interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
-Familiar with drawings & engineering manuals.
-Ability to handle administrative management of site posted crew
-Good computer skills with MS word, Excel, Power point presentation is required
Preferred Qualifications:
-Prior experience in International airport facilities or high-security critical infrastructure.
-Familiarity with international maintenance standards and safety codes.
-Knowledge of CMMS systems (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
