Qualification & Experience:
-B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineer (Essential) / Master in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in Design for Metro Rail / Tunnel Projects.
-Be able to write official letter and attend official meetings with Supervision Consultant and Client
-Excellent English and Communication skills
-At least 45 years old age
-Minimum 5 years’ experience in Civil Designing
-Minimum 20 years’ experience in Civil Field or Project Control including Design experience
-Experience of the designer or the design coordinator
-Self-motivated and Leadership as team leader
-MS office (Excel, Word, Power point, Project)
-AutoCAD
- Previous Contractor experience in Metro (MRT, LRT) project, Underground works (TBM xz, Station (Structure), Cavern etc.)
-Fluent in English
Role & Responsibilities:
-Controlling for identifying of Employer’s needs and expectations
-Summary up the result of design management review of each discipline and reporting the results to the Project Manager
-Overall Planning for Designing Work
-Management of Design Sub-contractor and Preparation/Control of Design Dossier
-Monitoring Programme and Implementation of Design Work Progress
-Management of deliverables from Sub-Contractor and also deliverables from the Contractor to the Employer and the Engineer
-Resolving Design issues with the Engineer and Employer in a timely and effective manner
-Review of Design reports and Drawings; highlight the deficiencies to Project Manager for necessary actions for improvement
-Review relevant Monthly reports, cost reports and highlight financial deficiency to Project Manager for necessary actions to improve the productivity
-Attending any meetings (Design Meeting, Interface Meeting, etc.), discussions etc. with the Employer and/or the Engineer, sub-contractors, the other contractors, suppliers as the case may be as required
