JOB PURPOSE:
Senior R&D Engineer is a major part of design & development activities to fulfil the organization goals in leading development and validation of new industrial electrical power products from concept to full production, with a specific focus on materials selection and analysis to avoid under engineering, over engineering and extra costs.

Senior R&D Engineer is a major part of design & development activities to fulfil the organization goals in leading development and validation of new industrial electrical power products from concept to full production, with a specific focus on materials selection and analysis to avoid under engineering, over engineering and extra costs.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
-Supervision on all R&D activities
-Distribution of all tasks and works within R&D department.
-Preparing all the mechanical planning till SAP BOM entrance. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
-Determines, specifies and validates design parameters in accordance with applicable standards: prepares required documentation.
-Proposes new concepts for new product lines. Investigates patentable concepts
-Proposes new complex design concepts. Directs and supervising the building of initial prototype products.
-Develops and supervises product testing programs to be performed by in-house and outside testing laboratories.
-Actively collaborates with other departments as required by project tasks.
-Successfully plans, implements, completes and documents engineering builds.
-Familiar with production procedures and execution.
-Active participation and facilitation in Product Development Process.
-Familiar with sheet metal manufacturing process.
-Knowledge of 3D software Autodesk Inventor Professional.
-Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis simulation in Autodesk Inventor Professional.
-Directs laboratory testing, conducts resulting data analysis, creates corrective action plans to address nonconformity revealed by testing.
