Job Summary
-Personnel should have completed 2 yrs of ITI minimum.
-Knowledge of Motor / Generator operation.
-Good knowledge in Assembly and Dis-assembly of motor/generators rotors.
-Specially for Synchronous motors and slipring motors.
-Knowledge of equipments used for Motor and Generator Repairs.
-Knowledge of machine accuracy/calibration process.
-Knowledge on basic fitment system, like shaft basis and hole basis, etc.
-Good Communication skill.
Works to be performed
-Knowledge require in repair of Motors and generators.
-Knowledge require for type of fault diagnosis especially mechanical problems.
-Knowledge require for identifying type of failures.
-Knowledge requires for parts identification related to dismantling of motors.
-Knowledge requires for missing parts during dis assembly and assembly.
-Good knowledge require in EOT crane operation & lifting-shifting of Heavy jobs.
-Knowledge to perform dis-assembly and assembly of horizontal and vertical motors with proper tracing methods.
-Knowledge on various types of bearings and its assembly method for horizontal and vertical type of motors.
-Knowledge and ability to fix ball and roller type of bearing
-Knowledge on sleeve / white metal bearing assembly.
-Knowledge for maintaining the clearances of bearing and bearing housing for white metal bearing.
-Knowledge and ability to identify and solve vibration and temperature rise in the repaired motor.
-Knowledge on type of grease and its application.
-Good knowledge of maintaining the job records.
-Knowledge on thrust loading of motors. Knowledge and experience to measure the end float of horizontal and vertical motors.
-Knowledge on working with White metal bearings and pad bearings.
-Knowledge on Anti friction bearing fixing and trouble shooting. It shall be skilled to install and remove roller bearings and sleeve bearings.
-Knowledge and experience of measuring oil clearance, side clearance, housing clearance and blue matching, etc.
-Able to interpret some assembly drawings for special motors.
-Capability to use inside micrometer / outside micrometer and Vernier caliper.
