Education
Minimum 12 years of school education, formal professional certifications in welding
Experience & Skills
-Minimum 8 to 10 years of working experiences in construction and/or petrochemical environment
-To be familiar with welding & repair maintenance on various types of materials used in Refinery, knowledge of Refinery stationary & rotary equipment, heaters, boilers, etc.
-To be able to supervise contractors manpower & services.
Primary Purpose of Job
-To perform all types of welding procedures and heat treatment works and routine fabrication jobs on all types of materials and equipment installed at the refinery site, including heat exchangers, vessels, heaters, boilers, turbines, pumps, castings, special equipment, etc. and within work shop including arranging consumables, equipment, tools, permits and preparations for the job.
-To supervise a group of contractor’s manpower including welders, fabricators, pipe fitters, scaffolders, insulators, etc. for sale execution of work at site.
