OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical control including pumps, motor, gear box, hoist and other rotating building services equipment. Provide Planned Maintenance and reactive diagnosis and repairs on all systems down to component level. All requirements of the mechanical engineering systems are included in the job objectives
JOB OBJECTIVES
-Responsible for the maintenance, repair, trouble shooting of Hangar Doors (Automatic and Manual Shutter Door, Automatic Sliding Door, Heavy Duty Electrically Operated Doors, Overhead Hangar Doors etc)
-Maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems throughout the site as detailed by the asset register and site management
-Carry out routine checks for correct operation of all automatic overhead, sliding, shutter door equipment as directed by site management and Daily/Weekly Servicing Plan.
-Renovate and replace equipment as required and instructed by the site management and upgrade mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems and equipment and modifying or renovating as necessary.
-Adjust variables and provide adjustment as required to ensure systems are operating correctly within parameters
-Carry out cleaning of all equipment and plant rooms to maintain all areas to a high level of cleanliness
-Carry out painting of all equipment and plant rooms as required or as detailed by the site management
-Monitor and record values of mechanical and plumbing systems to build up a database of records for energy conservation purposes.
-Actively participate in the training and development plan as agreed at the appraisal to include mechanical and electrical trade and language training as required
-Personally accountable for ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
-Attend Safety Meetings and Toolbox talks to increase safety awareness
-Mandatory to promptly report accidents, injuries and unsafe working conditions/practices immediately to the site management or to SHE.
-To resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.
-To provide advice to site management on the selection and requisition of materials for use in the maintenance and repair of equipment and to check whether the materials are fit for purpose and as specified.
-Provide a high level of customer service to the client and site personnel
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:
-Diploma in Electronic Engineering with 5 to 10 years expertise in installation and maintenance of all types of Automatic Doors
-Must be able to communicate in English (To be verified by test)
