Skills / Qualifications
-Degree in Engineering / Quantity Surveying with minimum 5 to 10 years experience in Estimation, Tendering & Quantity Surveying for Refinery / Petrochemical / Oil & Gas Construction Projects.
-Gulf experience & Experience in Korean Companies preferred.
-Excellent communication skills and good command of English language (verbal and written).
-Self-motivated and able to clearly communicate with project team and eternal stakeholders.
-Excellent computer skills with emphasis on MS Office applications
-Ability to work independently and also in a team environment
-Planning and organising skills
-Attitude and interest in problem-solving on a tactical and strategic level
Job Description
-Interface with members of Project Control team and other disciplines to collect data and details for performing work activities
-Monitor official correspondence, attend meetings and liase with PMC as necessary.
-Prepare and amend Minutes of Meeting at regular intervals, for the purpose of submission to Client
-Reviewing EPC Contractor minutes of meeting for areas of concern and potential claims, delays, etc.
-Correlate and review supporting documentation for any Changes or Claims arising during the construction period. Ensure appropriate records are being maintained at Site with respect to Variations.
-Daily review of incoming and outgoing correspondence to maintain awareness of Project status
-Review and understand EPC Contract Baseline terms and conditions and EPC Contractor Scope of Work,
-Review and remain aware of the division of responsibilities between EPC Contractor and others
-Review and familiarize with EPC Contract procedures associated with Job role
-Monitor Contractor’s compliance with insurance requirements set out in the EPC Contract,
-Performing Construction Site Contract Administration for the EPC Contract as follows:-
-Set-up, monitor and update Job Role associated electronic files,
-Support the Contract Change Management process (incl. change notices, change proposals, change orders)
-Maintain awareness of correspondence to/from EPC Contractor,
-Determine any apply any additional administrative procedural requirements, for individual role efficiency
-Ensure documents of commercial sensitivity are secured at the end of each working day and CLEAN DESK policy is observed at close of business each day.
