-A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as Procurement Engineer
-Postgraduate Diploma; or Postgraduate Degree.
-A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the oil and gas (O&G) industry or petrochemical industry is required.
-Responsible for preparing procurement plans that identify the equipment, materials, and supplies required for the project and the timeline for their procurement.
-Responsible for sourcing potential suppliers and evaluating them based on their quality, pricing, and delivery capabilities.
-Responsible for negotiating contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure that the project's procurement needs are met in a timely, cost-effective, and quality-controlled manner.
-Responsible for managing the project's procurement budget, ensuring that costs are kept within the allocated budget and that all procurement activities are performed efficiently and cost-effectively.
-Required to ensure that all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations, such as environmental regulations, safety regulations, and local content regulations.
Required to work closely with other teams, such as engineering and construction teams, to ensure that procurement activities are coordinated with other project activities and that all required equipment, materials, and supplies are procured in a timely manner.
-Responsible for monitoring supplier performance and ensuring that all equipment, materials, and supplies are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance reports.
-Qatar Ras Laffan Industrial city experience is preferred.
-Minimum 3 years Gulf experience must.
