Qualifications
Shall be qualified to HND/Diploma or an equivalent technical qualification in a mechanical / structural discipline. Shall be fluent in the English language both oral and written.
Experience
A minimum of twelve (12) years in petroleum/petrochemical construction industry and offshore project experience is required, of which six (06) years shall have been at a supervisory level. Also, a complete and thorough knowledge of petrochemical/offshore industry safety rules and regulations is mandatory.
Main Duties
-Shall be in-charge to distribute all offshore work and shall liaise directly with QatarEnergy REPRESENTATIVE in all aspects of the SERVICES provided.
-Shall have knowledge of the following: Fabrication, welding and erection of structural steelwork Fabrication, welding and installation of process pipework Hydrotest/ leak test procedures Heat treatment techniques Scaffolding, Crane/lifting operations from a floating platform with the associated slinging and rigging required.
