ASIAPOWER OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 6.30 PM (MONDAY TO SATURDAY)
-A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant working experience as Environment Coordinator Postgraduate Diploma; or Postgraduate Degree.
-A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the oil and gas (O&G) industry or petrochemical industry is required.
-Ensuring that all personnel understand their environmental responsibilities and providing access to suitable training and toolbox talks and assist the SHES trainers with expert advice
-Ensuring that relevant Project personnel are briefed on environmental incident procedures
-Ensuring that all relevant personnel completed environmental training program
-Establish and maintain environmental training register
-Undertaking regular (daily) environmental inspections and identifying corrective actions
-Ensure actions identified in environmental inspections, audits and environmental complaints as appropriate are implemented and that they are closed out. Thereafter verify that they are efficient and sustainable
-Maintaining a register of complaints, inspections, audit findings, incidents and other observations for follow-up and ensure corrective actions are closed out
-Performing audits of subcontractor environmental protection activities
-Recommending environmental improvement practices and applicable Best Available Technologies (BAT)
-Supporting any environmental initiatives and supervise subcontractor environmental representative activities
-Conducting environmental audits and spill prevention drills
-Applying regulations and guidelines issued by RLIC environmental department and Ministry of Environment
-Coordinating Subcontractor environmental activities
-Supervising SITE activities, such as chemical storage compliance, spill clean-up, temporary waste storage areas.
-Providing regulatory interface and waste shipment tracking
-Ensuring Project activities comply with the provisions of this EMP and other related environmental plans and applicable MME State of Qatar and RLIC environmental regulations
-Strictly followed QHSE / Projects/IMS Requirements.
-Responsible for generating weekly and monthly environment reports to client including waste disposal
-NEBOSH certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent
