MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To assist the site supervisor with the coordination of work from all disciplines as dictated by Project needs.
JOB OBJECTIVES
-To lead a team of technical / manual personnel and maintain harmonious working relationships.
-To confirm work execution in high manner, performance and quality.
-To maintain and enforce a safe working environment.
-Mandatory to promptly report accidents, injuries and unsafe working conditions/practices immediately to his engineer/supervisor or to SHE.
-To assist the site supervisor with the coordination of work from all disciplines as dictated by Project needs.
-To assist the Site Supervisor in the submission of inspection requests (checklist) to the department management in order to obtain approval for all executed work.
-To plan & schedule labour, material and equipment efficiently and within set time frames.
-To provide feedbacks to engineers for achieved progress in different areas.
-To provide feedbacks to site supervisor for achieved progress in different areas.
-To maintain effective lines of communication between the implementation and execution functions.
-Share knowledge with supervisor and stuff for mutual and department benefit.
-Plan and organizes daily work routine. And establish priorities for the completion of the work in expected time and on behalf of mechanical supervisor.
-Ensure Mechanical technicians and assistants are adequately trained, equipped and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in safe timely and cost effective manner.
-Ensure all site assets are maintained clean.
-To provide service to Kharafi National Facilities Management for whatever working hours are required for any site for any department work required to comply with the contract requirements.
-Undertake all works required as directed by the Site Managers.
-To provide onsite training followed by continuous support to the new staff in order to ensure their swift fulfilment to the job requirement but in a safe manner.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:
-A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering discipline (as appropriate)
-Basics of relevant technologies
-Knowledge of Client Policies & Procedures
-Supervisory Skills
-Training Skills
-Computer Skills
-Minimum 8 to 12 Years of relevant experience in a related field.
Desirable:
-Knowledge of Company Policies and Procedures
-Leadership Skills
