Purpose of the Job/Job Mission
The purpose of the Housekeeping Leadman job is to lead the team of Housekeeper and janitorial according to the company Standard Operating Procedures.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
-To ensure that all rooms, corridors, stairs, service pantries, fire exits, back of house areas, foyers, seating areas, waiting areas and other areas are maintained and cleaned according to the company Standard Operation.
-Supervision of many areas of the housekeeping services with many staff, and liaising with other departments.
-Train all staff, observe weakness areas and improve accordingly.
-Follow the Housekeeping daily action plan, distribute staff and assign duties.
-Check the maintenance of the equipment used by the staff and ensure that it is cleaned and stored correctly.
-Ensure the correct and economical use of cleaning chemicals and safe storage.
-Ensure that all day-to-day maintenance is reported promptly and followed up.
-Ensure that all vacuuming, polishing, carpet care, general cleaning is done in a professional manner and according to established schedule.
-Build positive and productive working relationships with customers, subordinates and superiors.
-Assign tasks to the Housekeeping Lead Man and demonstrate initiative at all times.
-Perform (On Job and Off Job) training to all Housekeepers to ensure staff is well trained on tasks.
-To have thorough knowledge of all the products and services provided by Housekeeping.
-Lead and support subordinates.
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
Hospitality Diploma graduated
Experience
Mandatory:
-Minimum 5 years’ experience of Housekeeping procedures.
-Must be neat in appearance and provide a professional attitude towards customers and staff.
Desirable:
-Must have the ability to further improve his abilities.
-Can communicate in English Language and (Arabic language is a plus).
-Good Interpersonal, Communications and organization skills.
