OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To lead a group of SCADA Operators in order to run waste water treatment plant at WATHBA smoothly by monitoring and controlling all process parameter according to specification and correct process and operation practice. To co-ordinate with Manager, Engineer, Supervisor and Field Operators for any abnormalities happen in the plant. To prepare daily report and send to concerned authorities.
JOB OBJECTIVES
-To lead a team of SCADA Operators in order to ensure that plant is running smoothly according to specification.
-Work together with all colleagues and associates with site operator to maintain a team building working relationships.
-To interpret instructions and related information into meaningful and accurate work directives to ensure plant is operated in accordance with instructions from Supervisor or work instructions.
-To make sure SCADA room is clean and all equipment is well maintained.
-To maintain effective lines of communication between the workforce and management.
-To maintain and enforce a safe working environment by job planning.
-To maintain client satisfaction by controlling SCADA operations.
-Ensure quality control is enforced by inspection of all completed work i.e. daily log sheets.
-To monitor closely process parameters online and inform concerned superiors as and when any disturbances noticed.
-Maintain constant reporting lines to management both verbal and written.
-To prepare work request to concern department and monitor the progress of the pending work request.
-Personally accountable for ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
-Ensure subordinates and yourself attend Safety Meetings and Toolbox talks to increase safety awareness.
-Mandatory to promptly report accidents, injuries and unsafe working conditions/practices immediately to the site management or to SHE.
-To provide service to Kharafi National Facilities Management for whatever working hours are required for any site for any department work required to comply with the contract requirements.
-Undertake all works required as directed by the Site Facilities Manager.
-To provide onsite training followed by continuous support to the new staff in order to ensure their swift fulfilment to the job requirement but in a safe manner.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:
-Diploma certificate in Water / Waste Water Treatment (To be verified)
-English language skills both written and oral (To be verified by Test)
-Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in waste water treatment works as SCADA Operator.
-Supervisory Skills to motivate and control a workforce of a minimum of 2 to 5 persons
-Experienced in ensuring quality work from subordinates by inspection
-Customer satisfaction
