Requirement / Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
Expertise / Skill
-Excellent English and Communication skills
-Minimum of 15 years experience (regarding Civil work) – essential
-Minimum of 10 years experience in similar position
-Self-motivated and Leadership as team leader
-MS office (Excel, Word, Power point, Project)
-Primavera 6 (Understanding mechanism)
Reference (Experience)
Previous Contractor experience in Metro (MRT, LRT) project, Underground works (TBM Tunnel, NATM Tunnel, Station (Structure), Cavern etc.)
Language
Fluent in English
Below 45 years of age.
Roles & Responsibility
-Controlling for identifying of Employer’s needs and expectations
-Summary up the result of management review of each discipline and reporting the results to the Project Manager
-Establishing Cost and Budget Control, Establish procurement& cost control policies
-Monitoring Program and Implementation of work progress
-Management of deliverables from Sub-Contractor and also deliverables from the Contractor to the Employerand the Engineer
-Resolving issues with the Engineer and Employer in a timely and effective manner
-Review of reports; highlight the deficiencies to Project Manager for necessary actions for improvement
-Review and approval of progress claims and payment certification in conjunction with Project Manager (bothof the Employer and Subcontractors)
-Review relevant Monthly reports, cost reports and highlight financial deficiency to Project Manager for necessary actions to improve the productivity
-Drafting and monitoring relevant correspondences (Letter) and contractual documents and presenting strategic advice in relation to any contractual issues that may arise.
-Attending any meetings, discussions etc. with the Donor, the Employer and/or the Engineer, sub-contractors, suppliers as the case may be as required.
-Dealing with preparation of any current and future claims for Extension of Time, variations and any related loss and expense claims, submission of final accounts and/or assessing and reviewing any extension of time,variations and related loss and expense claims from the Employer
-All other work required of a commercial / contractual nature as instructed by the Employer / Engineer
