Role & Responsibility
Painting QC Inspection
-Inspection of Surface Preparation & Prior to Application of liquid coating systems
-In-Process Inspection of Primer Coat OR First Coat Application
-Inspection of Primer Coat prior to top coating
-In-Process Inspection of Intermediate and/or Top Coat Application
-Inspection of Top Coat Application (Dry/Cured Coating)
-Inspection of Repair/Touch-up of Coatings
-Monitoring whether coating works is constructed in accordance with Company Standard and International Code.
-Verifying calibration status of measuring device, test equipment, etc.
-Issuing Non-Conformance Report for the products that non-conforming to the project specifications international codes and standards.
-Maintain quality documents as per Company Standards related to various stages of tank inspection.
Requirement/Qualification
Major / Degree
-Inspector shall be high school graduate, or equivalent
-Gulf experience & Experience in Korean Companies preferred.
Expertise / Skill
-Inspector shall be fully conversant with applicable Industry Standards and Specifications
-Inspector shall perform a variety of inspection functions with minimal supervision.
-Inspector shall have experience.
(Overall 5 years, Inspection Specialty 3 years, 2 years of oil, gas and petrochemical projects, infrastructure, communication etc.)
-Coating Inspector shall demonstrate a thorough working knowledge and proven ability of all phases and types of critical coating applications and methods and recognized industry standards and critical coatings.
-Inspector shall be certified to NACE CIP II, SSPC PCI II, BGAS Grade I or equivalent and qualified per the requirements of SAEP 316.
-Inspector shall be able to read, write and speak English language
