Job brief:
We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide enterprise-level IT support. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems. Strategically address the employee need and provide tier level 1 and level 2 support.
Job Responsibility
-Install and configure computer hardware, printers and operating systems.
-Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
-Perform software installation, configuration and updates as needed.
-Maintain the performance of computer systems and software.
-Setting up new user’s accounts & profiles, deals with passwords issues and resolve the login issues.
-Troubleshoot / repairing of system and minor network problems, diagnosing and solving the hardware and software faults.
-Response to quires and ability to provide step-by-step technical support across the company over the phone call, remote sessions and email.
-Visit the branch / site office and resolve the issue on site.
-Maintain and keep update the IT hardware inventory.
Required Skills
-Must understand Windows desktop and server networking environments.
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, databases and desktop applications.
-Must understand VPN, remote connectivity and general networking concepts.
-Knowledge of network environments including LAN/WAN, WLAN, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Proxy, SAN, VLANs, VMWare.
-Knowledge of network printers (Xerox, SHARP), network sharing drives and user access management.
-Knowledge of MS Exchange Server help desk management role and outlook configuration.
-Strong knowledge of different Microsoft server roles including Domain Controller, Active Directory Server, File Server, Print Server
-Strong knowledge of VoIP (IP PBX, IP Phones)
-Familiar with remote desktop applications and help desk software
-Hands-on experience on Backup Management, File servers, Antivirus management.
-Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
