OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)
Qualification & Experience:
-SSC / ITI with minimum 5 to 10 years experience as Cable Jointer in Power Plant / Distribution / Overhead Transmission Line Projects.
-Must be having good working hand on Overhead line high tension & low tension distribution, Pole Fixing Meter Fixing, Indore & outdoor cable termination. Knowledge in Electrical wiring (Industrial Electrician), preferable if knows driving.
-Must be having Saudi Electricity Company (SECO) experience or holding SECO ID or any KSA experience into similar field.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Correctly use and maintain the tools of the trade including power tools, test equipment and measuring instruments.
-Prepare different types of cables with different cable sheathing systems and accessories for the jointing process.
-Joint copper or aluminium conductor cables using soldering, mechanical or compression techniques.
-Joint telephone and pilot cables.
-Terminate cables using soldering, mechanical or compression techniques / Insulate cable joints and terminations according to the specifications or code of practice using heat shrink tubing or cold mix compound.
-Plumb lead or aluminium sheathed cable in any plane and apply the alternative use of mechanical earth connector.
-Identify different types of cables, and different cores and pairs for telephone and pilot cables.
-Use safety equipment, and protective devices and equipment.
-Correctly instruct, supervise and transfer skills to any apprentice or semi-skilled worker assigned to him to entire safety and quality of work.
-Apply Live work procedures and skills for Tee and Straight LV joints and terminations.
-To demonstrate good interpersonal and organisational skills. To ensure staff consistently use incident and accident reports and tailgate forms when required.
-To undel1ake all activities in accordance with company policies and legal requirements including obligations under the Electricity Act and the HSE Act.
-To manage allocated projects and ensure work is carried out in a manner that complies with legislative, company, and client requirements.
-To work on allocated projects in a manner that complies with legislative, company, and client requirements, including planning of work, quality of completed work and provision of information related to completed work.
-To use allocated plant, tools, and equipment and ensure it is used efficient ly, effectively and safely and is maintained to company requirements.
