OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To co-ordinate information from Kharafi National Facilities Management to ensure that the MV/LV systems and electrical manpower provide a continual professional service to effect planned maintenance and repair of the WWTP equipment to comply with contract requirements, quality system and health and safety of the clients and own personnel.
JOB OBJECTIVES
-Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting of generators (Diesel, Biogas), power and control transformers, electrical motors, 415V MCC’s, 11 & 33kV SWGR’s, battery chargers, VFD’s, soft starters, UPS systems, AC and DCDBs
-Lead a team of electrical technicians and assistants to ensure that all equipment are inspected and serviced as per the recommendations and site requirements.
-Ensure that internal rules are respected and that the available means are utilized (work permits, operation procedures, health and safety prevention plans, etc.).
-Interpret instructions and related information into meaningful and accurate work directives to ensure equipment is maintained and repaired in accordance with instructions form Supervisor or work instruction.
-Ensure electrical technicians and assistants are adequately trained, equipped and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in safe timely and cost effective manner.
-Allocate responsibility to subordinates according to the potential.
-Ensure servicing and repair is carried out within the work order set time frames
-Ensure all electrical rooms and equipments are maintained clean.
-Maintain and enforce a safe working environment by analyzing risk and job planning.
-Ensure quality control is enforced by inspection of all completed work.
-Ensure subordinates and himself attend Safety Meetings and Toolbox talks to increase safety awareness.
-Mandatory to promptly report accidents, injuries and unsafe working conditions/practices immediately to his engineer/supervisor or to SHE.
-Ensure all works will be done as per the company Health and Safety procedures.
-Assist the engineer/supervisor in the submission of inspection requests (checklist) to obtain approval for all executed work.
-Estimate time and material requirements of assigned work projects.
-Screen and select competent manual staff to accomplish project tasks according to project skills requirements.
-To provide onsite training followed by continuous support to the new staff in order to ensure their swift fulfilment to the job requirement but in a safe manner.
