Role & Responsibility
-Mechanical Equipment Preservation QC Inspection
-Periodic preservation Inspection for Mechanical & Electrical Equipment
-Operation of HDEC Preservation Computer Program (HPMS)
-Cooperation with Company in preservation work
-Monitor that equipment is preserved in accordance with company standards and vendor recommendations.
-Verifying calibration status of measuring device, test equipment, welding machines etc.
-Issuing Non-Conformance Report for the products that non-conforming to the project specifications, international codes and standards.
-Maintain quality documents as per Company Standards related to various stages of preservation inspection.
Requirement/Qualification
Major / Degree
Inspector shall be high school graduate, or equivalent
Expertise / Skill
-Inspector shall be fully conversant with applicable Industry Standards and Specifications
-Inspector shall perform a variety of inspection functions with minimal supervision.
-Inspector shall have experience. (Overall 5 years, Inspection Specialty 3 years, 2 years of oil, gas and petrochemical projects, infrastructure, communication etc.)
-Inspector shall be demonstrated working knowledge of codes, as required by the scope of the CONTRACT, such as ASME Sec I, V, VIII and IX, ANSI B31.3/4/8 and API 620/650 and AWS D1.1, required for the execution of the inspection work.
As a minimum, Inspector shall have experience with:
-Installation of equipment such as, Pumps, Motors, Skids, Valves, Vessels, Compressors, Fired Heaters, Auxiliary Equipment, Packaged Equipment in plant construction, etc;
-Piping systems and pipe line including bellows and supports; flange assembly and gaskets; hot tap procedure; vessels, tanks and spheres construction; structural steel erection; and hot/cold Insulation.
-Good Computer Skill
-Knowledge of electrical work in addition to the above mechanical experience
-Language: Inspector shall be able to read, write and speak English language Etc.
