Educational Qualifications:
High School
Experience:
-Minimum of three (3) years experience on site, after certificate, with application of safety codes and practices related to Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industrial Projects.
-Fully conversant in all aspects of construction procedures as per OSHA.
Special Training / Skill:
-Course on First-Aid or CPR
-Capable to conduct Orientation classes and demonstrate loss prevention training.
Any Other Requirement:
-Fully conversant to perform risk analysis and writing safety evaluation/statistical reports
-Must possess valid driving license
-Good in English - Read / Write / Speak
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Coordinate with safety coordinator and safety manager regarding safety matter.
-Conduct weekly toolbox meetings.
-Conduct daily site inspection and weekly Safety Audit.
-Advise supervisor on safety issues.
-Request for PPE and other safety item for sites.
-Issue safety violation letters.
-Conduct inspection of fire extinguishers and maintain their record.
-Follow up the maintenance of proper house keeping of the site.
-Conduct periodic inspection of lifting gears (like wire rope slings, nylon slings, D-shackles, eye bolts, etc., power and hand tools, night time warning lights, etc.
-Conduct daily inspection of safety barricades and safety signboards, scaffolding, ladders etc.
-Conduct/supervise daily inspection of vehicles (light & heavy) and all equipment (stationary and mobile which includes both small and big).
-Conduct daily inspections of sanitary facility like portable toilet, availability of garbage can/dust bins / lugger bucket, availability of drinking water and first aid boxes at site.
