ASIAPOWER OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 6.30 PM (MONDAY TO SATURDAY)
-Must have more than 5 years' experience in the Oil and Gas or Power Generation industries, with a minimum of 2 years as an Electrical Maintenance Technician or Electrician.
-Educational qualifications: ONC or equal in a relevant discipline or standard based qualification (NVQ level 2) or equivalent. Nb. May be required to undertake Competency Based test witnessed by the COMPANY Discipline Engineer.
-Must have a fairly good knowledge of various process equipment
-Must be able to understand job tasks and take verbal or written instruction.
-Shall be conversant with working on hazardous area equipment.
-Shall be able to use test equipment and have knowledge of fault finding.
-Must have knowledge of terminating cables and requirements for cable glanding, laying and jointing such cables.
-Can read and understand general electrical drawings.
-Must be competent to isolate LV drive.
-Must be able to report close out activities & capture work history in CMMS.
-Offshore / Shutdown experience preferred.
