Job Objective:
-Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of compressor pumps. Their main purpose is to ensure the reliable and efficient functioning of these pumps, which are essential in our refining process.
-Perform regular inspections, conduct repairs when needed, and optimize pump performance. Safety compliance is a crucial aspect of their job, and to document work for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
-Overall, their role is vital in maintaining the smooth operation of the refinery and maximizing productivity.
-To install, calibrate, maintain, and repair instrumentation and control systems specific to the refinery industry. They ensure accurate measurement and control of critical parameters, contributing to safe and efficient refinery operations.
Principle Accountabilities:
-Deal with equipment breakdowns, safety hazards, high workloads, complex systems, hot oil hazard, environmental factors, and the need for continuous training and knowledge updates.
-Overcoming these challenges requires expertise, problem-solving skills, and staying updated with industry advancements.
-Must work efficiently to address issues promptly and ensure the reliable operation of compressor pumps

Required Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
-Knowledge of control pumps and mechanical instruments
-Deep knowledge of the system to carry out trouble shooting.
-Familiarity with overhauling repair and reconditioning of pumps.
-Ability to organize and facilitate workshops, field mechanical maintenance and technical reporting.
-Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
-Equivalent Mechanical Diploma
-Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in refinery/petrochemical plant
