ASIAPOWER OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 6.30 PM (MONDAY TO SATURDAY)
Responsibilities
-To support Laboratory/Technical Manager to manage the mechanical testing laboratory within budget.
-To be well versed with test methods and procedures, analysis of test datas.
-Open Job cards while receiving samples, and ensure that all stages of job activities are recorded with good traceability
-Supervise lab technicians to carry out the required test as per Customer requirement and as per applicable standards and ATS approved procedures.
-Coordinate with Lab./Technical Manager and arrange timely calibration of test equipment, and routine maintenance of equipment
-Ensure sufficient consumables, accessories/spares for the test equipment is available in Lab.
-Prepare of test reports and maintain records and corrective actions of nonconforming test activities.
-Establish and maintain a highly flexible approach to working practices to achieve smooth, efficient and cost-effective services, develop methods to keep technical knowledge up to date.
-To ensure effective team communication and information and to assist the development of team members through training and monitor and assess their progress, motivation, performance and efficiency.
-Ensure all laboratory personnel are wearing appropriate PPE in the laboratory
-Maintain log pertaining to sample receiving, inspection, testing, disposal of material etc.
-Ensure good housekeeping in the laboratory work area.
-Implement best practice and facilitate continuous improvement in all aspects of lab activities.
Education, Skills and Experience
Essential:
-Bachelor degree in Engineering with minimum of 5 years’ experience in a reputed Laboratory
-Knowledge of ISO 17025 requirements
-Knowledge of International Standards and test methods
-Communication Skills
-Leadership Skills
-Planning
-Computer Skills
Desirable:
-Work experience in Accredited laboratories
-Knowledge of Regulatory requirements of the State and
-Knowledge of International Standards and Test Methods
