Job Description:
ASIAPOWER OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 6.30 PM (MONDAY TO SATURDAY)

Position Summary:
The Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of a specific unit or department within an organization. They play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the unit, achieving performance targets, and fostering a positive work environment. The Unit Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, supervises staff, manages budgets, and implements strategies to drive unit success.
 
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and manage the operations of a specific unit or department, ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and business objectives.
-Develop and implement strategic plans, goals, and initiatives for the unit, aligned with the organization's overall strategy and objectives.
-Manage and allocate resources, including budgeting, staffing, and equipment, to support unit operations and optimize productivity.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to foster a collaborative and cohesive work environment, promoting effective communication, teamwork, and knowledge sharing.
-Monitor and analyze unit performance metrics, financial data, and operational reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
-Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, or internal stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and providing exceptional service or support.
-Supervise and mentor unit staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster professional growth and ensure high levels of employee engagement and motivation.
-Implement and enforce policies, procedures, and quality standards within the unit to ensure compliance, consistency, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the unit, identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and enhanced operational efficiency.
-Manage and resolve escalated issues or customer complaints, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
-Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the unit's area of operation, and recommend innovative strategies or solutions.
-Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the unit.

Qualifications and Skills:
-Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, management, or a related discipline. A master's degree is a plus.
-Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in the same industry or functional area as the unit being managed.
-Strong knowledge of the industry, market trends, and best practices related to the unit's operations.
-Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals and deliver high-quality results.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, develop strategies, and make data-driven decisions.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, negotiate, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
-Proven experience in budget management, financial analysis, and resource allocation.
-Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities.
-Proficiency in using relevant software applications and tools for data analysis, project management, and reporting.
-Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and industry-specific certifications.
