Education
HND or B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline preferred, however suitable industry experience and / or accreditations may be considered as comparable.
Experience & Skills
-Minimum 20 years’ experience in offshore Oil and Gas operations, including at least 10 years offshore diving & ROV operations and 5 years diving Management (based onshore).
-Experience with diving services tender preparations/evaluations, diving services contract management, client correspondence & interaction preferred.
-Very good working knowledge of English is essential, both written and spoken.
-It is essential to have good computer skills, with experience in electronic business management software preferred e.g. SAP.
-A good working knowledge of underwater NDT techniques is required, with appropriate IRM contract experience to be demonstrated.
-A thorough knowledge of all modes of offshore diving (Air, Surface Decompression, SAT including Hyperbaric Evacuation) to enable DSV operational planning.
Primary Purpose of Job
The primary responsibility is to provide all technical or contractual guidance to maintain QP Sub sea assets through the supervision of the Diving services contracts and coordinate with other QP department & joint Venture Partners for work execution, meeting the deadlines, maintaining all necessary safety and technical standards.
