Expertise:
-Diploma / ITI in Mechanic with minimum 5 to 7 years experience in similar position in the repair, trouble-shooting, overhauling of mechanical equipment including pumps, turbines, compressors, engines, diesel engines, injectors, fuel pumps, governors etc. Have practical experience in maintenance of static equipment of process plants like vessels, heat exchangers, and coolers, piping etc. and familiar with specification and classifications of pipes and fittings. Experience on Diesel Engine, auto ignition, Stand by Generators is preferable.
-Have adequate knowledge in safety procedures for working in hazardous areas. Possesses special skills in the use of hand tools, power tools and precision measurement tools.
-Be capable of supervising one or more employees of lower classification, decision making and work-planning judged in that order.
Job Description:
-Performs maintenance, repair and overhaul of diesel machinery including calibration of injections and pumps. Capable in the diagnosis of mechanical problems and leading the lesser skilled personnel. Performs general housekeeping functions including cleanliness of equipment/ machinery.
-Capable in maintaining equipment records. Assists in determining need to requisition maintenance supplies spare parts, tools and equipment. Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English. Possesses eliminative analytical capability with diagnostic and historical, in that order of importance.
