Requirement / Qualification
-Major / Degree At least 3 year Diploma in Civil / Architectural Engineering or equivalent.
-Minimum 3 to 5 year of experience in similar kind of project with Architect or main contractor
-Minimum 5 years of drafting experience with AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
-Ability to prepare shop drawings and document.
-Knowledge of other drafting tools (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup and 3D Studio Max) are advantage.
-Gulf experience & Experience in Korean Companies preferred.
Expertise / Skill:
-Good knowledge of construction and design principles.
-Good in English reading, writing & speaking.
Roles & Responsibilities
-Draw rough and detailed scale plans for buildings and structures, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, construction dwg, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data.
-Obtain and assemble data to complete architectural! structural designs, visiting job sites to compile measurements as necessary.
-Capable and expert of preparing Layout plan, elevation, section, details etc for commercial, residential and public buildings, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and other related software.
-Coordinate and inspect the work of sub-contractor draftspersons, technicians, and technologists on construction projects.
-Represent architect on construction site, ensuring builder compliance with design specifications and advising on design corrections, under architect's supervision.
-Check dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers to lists of materials.
-Determine procedures and instructions to be followed, according to design specifications and -quantity of required materials.
-Analyze technical implications of architect's design concept, calculating area, volumes, and factors.
-Create freehand drawings and lettering to accompany drawings and reproduce drawings on copy machines.
-Operate computer-aided drafting equipment software or conventional drafting station to produce designs, working drawings, shop drawings charts, forms and records.
-Coordinate with structural, electrical and mechanical design & drawings to determine a method of presentation in order to graphically represent building plans.
