Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
-B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from a fully accredited and reputed University.
-Must obtain registration from Saudi Council of Engineers
Mandatory:
-Shall have 7 years of experience as Chemical Design Engineer (Water and Waste Water treatment).
-Must have experience in chemical engineering laboratory and analysis work, raw/drinking water product analysis, sewage water treatment and advanced wastewater treatment, water analysis, familiar with AC plant water treatment analysis and other laboratory analysis.
-Must be competent and qualified to perform complex tests on water, wastewater and be able to apply the fundamentals of chemistry, physics, biology and science.
-Must have knowledge in water and waste water treatment design Calculation related software.
-Must be well verse with related International Engineering and construction Codes and Standards including international plumbing code, international fire code, international mechanical code, American water works Association (AWWA) and Water environment Federation (WEF).
-Must be able to read and understand
-Technical Drawings.
-Saudi Aramco Experience
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Accountability:
-Must have experience in chemical engineering laboratory and analysis work, raw/drinking water product analysis, sewage water treatment and advanced wastewater treatment, water analysis.
-Perform AC plant water treatment analysis and other laboratory analysis.
-Maintain the chemical inventory & quality of chilled water system.
-Provide engineering support for chemical operations and equipment.
-Must be familiar with associated laboratory equipment and be able to perform simple repair and maintenance of the equipment.
-Must also have experience in planning, programming, estimating, scheduling and quality control.
-Troubleshoot quality and safety issues in a timely manner.
-Responsible for the facilitation of continuous improvement processes around equipment availability and reliability.
-Must be able to prepare reports, charts, compile data and analysis.
-Performs other duties/special assignments as required or to meet the ongoing needs of the department.
Accountability:
-Ensure that all inspection reports are accurate and that all attached documents are current status.
-Familiar with chemical Hazards.
-Checks unit operational, safety and emergency procedures.
-Performs assigned duties by Manager or in charge.
-Performs other related duties as assigned.
-Ability to read, write and speak English
