OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)
-Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 12 years experience as an electrician, at least (5) years hand on experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment like motors, transformers, generators, circuit breakers UPS, VSDs and cabling in similar position.
-Performs and/or directs all maintenance and repair of electrical equipment.
-Collecting of equipment details of all types of electrical items from Site, drawing and catalogues for preparing the data to input in eBeams.
-Be capable of diagnosing electrical problems with analytical instrumentation.
-Development of equipment numbers as per eBeams Equipment Numbering.
-Collection of Preventive Maintenance data from Maintenance Manuals and formatting them to meet eBeams requirements.
-Identifying requirement of manpower and materials for Preventive Maintenance Programs.
-Performs and/or direct preventive maintenance, defined in the preventive maintenance program.
-Requisition maintenance supplies, tools, parts and equipment.
-Instruct lesser skilled personnel in on-the-job maintenance functions.
-Direct the action and work of those assigned to him.
-Ensures full safety measures before and during all works in accordance with the latest company’s Fire and Safety Regulations and Statutory Electrical Regulations.
-Operate the Low Tension Network as directed by Company’s representative.
-Carries out other related duties such as obtaining excavation/work permits in accordance with Company’s regulations.
-Be capable of group communication to direct the maintenance of the complete facility.
-Carry out modifications /small project work for improvement.
-Attends to call-out duty after working hours.
-A minimum number of three (3) Lead Electrical Technicians should have in addition to the above, should be conversant with electronic circuits/Micro Processor boards and able to fault locate / repair such systems.
-Working knowledge of PC Software’s eg. Excel, Access etc.
-Have the skill to maintain, disassemble and reassemble Electrical machinery in accordance with specifications.
-Be able to read, write and speak English language freely.
-He should have experience in testing, commissioning and trouble shooting of Generator.Be able to read Engineering drawings.
-Knowledge of hazardous area classification and flameproof equipment.
-Be able to complete assigned jobs without supervision.
-Supervises the electrical maintenance work of the Contractor’s personnel in the assigned area including workshop activities, projects and modifications.
-Be capable of group communication to direct the work of a crew and co-ordinate the work of other crafts, oral communication to direct the work of others and written communication to prepare maintenance reports.
-Diagnoses, Trouble shoot and locate electrical system faults on plants, machinery, equipment and implements appropriate remedial actions. Reports the finding with recommendations.
-Liaisons effectively with the Contractor’s staff/Company’s representative.
