ELECTRICITY SYSTEMS CONTROL
Core Functions:
To maintain logging and the system logs & records, archiving / retrieving PTW's, SFT's, etc.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Work shift duties 24 hours:
-Assist the Shift Control Engineer in executing switching programs.
-Maintains the System Voltage & Frequency at prescribed levels all the time.
-Assists the Control Engineer for economic load dispatching of active and reactive power to various power stations.
-Participates in the preparation of the daily reports.
-Helps the shift control engineer during emergencies.
-Logs on system events, alarms, switching operations and any reporting from field.
-Attends to special tasks assigned by Head of System Control Section, Senior Engineer, or Control Engineers.
-Maintain the SCADA Diagrams.
-Exchanging the information with Call Center, NCC and concerned Sections.
-Calling the required gangs during faults and emergency.
Qualification Requirements:
Education & Training
Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Job Experience
Minimum 5 to 7 years experience in power system Transmission & Distribution Networks out of which three years in system control or substation attendant / SCADA / Computer knowledge.
