REFINING OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT
Job Purpose:
Carries out field operation of the assigned processing units in RFCC Unit (U 41) and Power Generation Package (5105 U) under the guidance of General Operator. The job includes regular communication with the panel operator, inspecting and monitoring of various equipment, executing the start up, shutdown of rotary and static equipment, furnaces, exchangers etc., hand-over equipment for maintenance and taking over from maintenance.
Report to Shift Supervisor and receives instructions from Shift Supervisor during assigned shifts. Works in accordance with in established operating procedures, and work instructions. Fills log books and log sheets as per IMS procedures. Work Accomplishments are subject to review and direction.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
-Higher Secondary Certificate or Equivalent.
-7 years of operations experience in Refinery.
-TPP or equivalent.
-Good working knowledge of relevant process units.
-Good knowledge of basic arithmetic.
-Good surveillance, vigilance and control in operations.
-Follows Refinery policies and procedures in line with Company’s objectives and interest.
-Good oral and reading knowledge of English.
-Fire Fighting / First Aid / BA / H2S training.
