ELECTRICITY SYSTEMS CONTROL
Description:
-Oversees the daily NCC control room operational activities.
-Supervising the continuity and security of supplies from the grid system.
Judging the state of the system and pre-arrange outage of transmission equipment and generating plant.
-Reviewing & checking the weekly allocation dispatch of output and reserve of generating plant in accordance of system security.
-Making prompt arrangement for the release of high voltage equipment.
-Directing and approving running arrangements of busbars for the control of power flow and short circuit levels to meet the requirements of system security and stability.
-Coordinating and approving the outage programs for non KAHRAMAA utilities.
-Following, coordinating and checking the commissioning program for the new equipment to the grid network before implementing by the system engineer.
-Following the pending alarms and the pending system problems with the related sections.
Maintaining & supervise all records of all events and checking the documents related to the operation of the system.
-Checking and approving all the operation daily reports before final approval from Senior Control Engineer & Head of System Control.
-Supervising all Shift Charge Engineers, System Control Engineers and Technical Assistance.
-Acting as System Control Engineer when absent.
-Assisting the Shift Charge Engineer & the System Control Engineer in case of system emergency.
Qualifications:
-B.Sc / B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
-Minimum 10 years experience in the relevant field of work.
