ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION DEPARTMENT
Core Functions:
Responsible for the routine and preventative maintenance of electrical distribution switch gears
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
-Inspects and rectifies with routine and preventive maintenance the electricity distribution substation equipments.
-Operates and maintains all types of switch-gears and associated equipment such as step voltage regulators, auto-reclosers, etc.
-Studies and analyzes faults in distribution network and take remedial action.
-Attends to emergency trouble shooting distribution network faults and ensure quick restoration of supply round clock, whenever system fault happens.
-Operates and maintains the 33 K.V. 11 K.V. Net-work systems.
-Issues safety document and supervision.
-Attends to and familiarizes him with all types of distribution faults including substation equipments faults.
-Ensure full compliance of staff, and all working parties to safety standards.
-Provide technical supervision and direction to the contractors or KM staff carrying out the Substation maintenance, repairing, and installation works.
-Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate supervisor
Qualification Requirements:
B.E. in Electrical Engineering (Power)
Job Experience
At least 8 years experience in the construction/maintenance of Distribution Network
