Qualifications and Experience
Academic Qualification
Engineering Graduate / University and / or College Education or degree in Business Management / Marketing or related courses with supplemental studies leading to the degree of Masters in Business Administration / Marketing / Engineering.
Professional Qualifications
-5 years experienced in Contracts / Subcontracts Administration (Preferably in Oil, Refinery and Gas Projects).
-Fluent in English Communication / Written skills.
-Understands and has knowledge in Contractual Matters (with Client and Subcontractors)
-With skills in Preparing Correspondences (Letters, Minutes of Meetings, etc.) to Client and Subcontractors related to Contractual Matters.
-With knowledge to perform job related to coordination with subcontractors, client and other hird parties involved in construction.
-Has the ability to identify and avoid causes for contractual claims.
-Can recognize the different types of claims and how to prevent and or deal with each type.
-Understand the different approach to dispute resolutions including alternative dispute proposals.
-Has the knowledge to practice and discuss, through a project, all aspects of negotiating and resolving contractual claims.
Job Summary
Has the overall responsibility in reviewing, issue analysis and recommendation, including bid clarifications, on the contractual and commercial terms and conditions and other documents which comprise the Bid Documents received from prospective customers for the purposes of submitting a formal Bid Proposal with the intent of winning and entering into a prime contract with said customer.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
-Review Bid Documents.
-Shall recommend any qualification and or clarification, to be incorporated in the proposal documents to the prospective customer necessary to protect the company’s commercial interests.
-Identify the need for a subcontract and assist in the issuance of a technical package with detailed scope of work, list of drawings and specifications and any other relevant technical documents.
-Package checking for consistency and completeness.
-Assist Contracts Manager in handling claims through negotiation, conciliation, mediation and arbitration and in resolving disputes legally.
