Job Description:
Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience 
-University Degree in Logistics Management / Supply Chain Management or equivalent
-Minimum of 8 years experience, of which 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
-Technical background is desirable.
-Excellent level of verbal and written English.
-Computer Literacy. Familiar with MS Office application and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools, such as SAP W3.
-Familiarity with Oil / Gas industry related materials specifications and standards.

Primary Purpose of the Job
Supervise operations and ensure the efficient functioning of daily Dispatch activities of QP's centralized Receipt and Dispatch Section in Doha.

Principal Accountabilities:
-Plan and execute daily activities related to the dispatch of material / stock in collaboration with Head of Receiving & Dispatch. Ensure that all SAP transactions / stock in transit are cleared in the system by running appropriate reports on time to avoid delays to operational activities.
-Conduct daily checks on work areas, ensuring the area is clean and in safe working condition. Ensure suppliers are attended to without causing delays in receiving materials.
-Maintain storage areas by organizing f h r spaces, adhering to storage design principles and recommending improvements.
-Provide guidance to subordinates on operational matters in ensuring the User demands are met without causing delays to QP Operations.
-Produce monthly statistical reports. Provide annual budget requirements of Unit, ensure allocated budget is utilized within the operating year, review and monitor monthly expenditure reports.
-Contribute to human capital objectives of Unit, in that of orientation, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling and disciplining employees, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions, recommending compensation actions and adhering to policy  / procedures.
-Attend meetings related to activities of Unit, as and when required. Monitor daily activities in ensuring that safety, efficiency and dependable service delivery are maintained at all times, and that necessary corrective action is taken as and when required.
-Regularly coordinate with QA Dept for certifying and colour coding of lifting equipment.
-Ensure that CNRs (Complaint Notification Reports) are raised based on category and coordinate with appropriate Section to resolve without delay to avoid accumulation.
-Carry out operational activities in compliance with overall objectives, QP's policies / procedures and ensure that all QP safety and environmental regulations are enforced
