Qualifications
-Engineering Degree in Instrumentation / Electronics.
-Minimum 15 years experience as instrument maintenance engineering in large Petrochemical Refinery / Fertilizers Plant. (Section in charge)
-Excellent knowledge of all type of DCS based smart, instruments as well as conventional electronics, pneumatic, hydraulic field instrumentation, test equipment and all type of analytical instruments.
-Ability to carry out programming trouble shooting of DCS, ESD's, PLC's compressor and surge control system.
-Computer skills windows, word, Excel, MS project, etc should be able to carry out fault analysis and prepare reports.
-Reads, writes, and speaks excellent English.
Job Description
Instrument engineer with his broad knowledge and experience provides technical expertise to. The maintenance activity of all type of instrumentation controls, all types of Analyzers Instruments, ESD's, DCS system and safety protection systems Programmable logic control PLC in the plants and workshop. Carry out new installations, modifications and updates when required and authorized by PIC management.
Duties and Responsibilities include
-Assuring reliable maintenance and testing and calibration to meet all PIC standard quality and safety regulations.
-Provide technical help and support to supervisors, technicians and mechanics when needed
-Closely coordinate daily activity with other sections of maintenance planning and operations makes sure that jobs are completed to proper standards, repair report and history card updated after completion of jobs.
-Monitors and anticipates developing instrument problems, plan, remedial action, spare parts and scheduling with planning section for necessary PM., PdM or shut down maintenance.
-Follows HSE policies and procedures meets ISO requirements for the section.
