ASIAPOWER OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)
-Diploma in Engineering / Graduate in any field with minimum 5 to 10 years experience in Water Treatment Plant.
-Monitors the plant operation through the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA), process values, operators reports, trends, etc. and ensures the plant continuous running by :
-Ensuring the realization of the day’s program of work defined by the Operation & Process Manager and the Maintenance Manager, and keep them informed about its progress;
-Reporting to the Operation & Process Manager and the Maintenance Manager the plant running status (principal defects, stopped equipment, etc.);
-Ensuring the remote starting and shut-down operation when required;
-Putting in service the stand-by equipment in case of failure;
-While on shift out of the normal working hours, assures the plant’s control and covers basic staff supervision of the Operation Shift Technicians. Dispatches the work to the Operation Shift Technicians according to their certifications/accreditations and their presence, while ensuring compliance to the Quality-Safety-Environment requirements
-Coordinate trouble shooting activities according to their degree of urgency with the Operation & Process Manager.
-Warns the Operation & Process Manager, the Maintenance Manager or the “stand-by duty” team in case of an emergency situation on site or if an intervention is necessary in an established risky area that could affect process, operation continuity, safety or guaranties
-Act as main point of contact, for coordination in case of emergency or crisis, both with internal and external stakeholders.
-Coordinate and record maintenance activities by :
-Entering data in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS or EAM)
-Validating lock out/tag out activities and follow-up the work permits on daily basis.
-Issuing maintenance requests and deciding when to call the on-call personnel
-Reports to the next Operation Shift Team Leader and to the Operation & Process Manager the principal events of the completed shift, while filling the shift log-book with a synthesis of the relevant information.
-Informs the Operation & Process Manager in case of operation discrepancy between plants areas or units
