OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To carry out maintenance of plant, equipment, components or systems, to ensure the work is executed to the manufacturers recommended maintenance requirements and contract specifications.
JOB OBJECTIVES
-Carry out routine electro-mechanical Planned Maintenance and Reactive repairs as detailed by the PPM Plan and reactive maintenance as required
-Carry out routine checks for correct operation of all equipment as directed by site management and Daily/Weekly Servicing Plan.
-Renovate and/or replace equipment as required and instructed by the site management
-Install new facilities and equipment as instructed by the site management.
-Adjust variables and provide adjustment to building services equipment as required to ensure systems are operating correctly within operating parameters.
-Monitor and record values of electrical systems to build up a database of records.
-Communicate all actions and information to supervisors and management as required.
-To resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time and communicate to the supervisors and management..
-To provide advice to site management on the selection and requisition of materials for use in the maintenance and repair of equipment and to check whether the materials are fit for purpose and as specified.
-To complete the necessary paperwork for the completion of planned or reactive work and get it authorised by the client after their inspection.
-To develop a close working relationship with the site management and client to ensure communication lines are open complete periodical reports on the progress of work for record purposes
-Carry out cleaning of all equipment and plant rooms to maintain all areas to a high level of cleanliness
-Carry out painting of all equipment and plant rooms as detailed by the site management
-Actively participate in the training and development plan as agreed at the appraisal to include electro-mechanical trade and language training as required
-Personally accountable for ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
-Mandatory to promptly report all accidents, injuries and unsafe working conditions or practices.
-Attend Safety Meetings and Toolbox talks to increase safety awareness
-Mandatory to promptly report accidents, injuries and unsafe working conditions/practices immediately to the site management or to SHE.
-Provide a high level of customer service to the client and site personnel
-Carry out all requests from the site management as required.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:
-High School Diploma or 5 years expertise in installation and maintenance work of electrical systems on LV and MV distribution
-Must be able to communicate in English (To be verified by Test)
-Technical aptitude with analytical skills
-Problem solving
-Independent operator
-Concern of quality
-Concerns for Safety Rules and procedures
-Customer service experience
Desirable:
-Certificates in FM technical training subjects (to be verified)
-Arabic
